Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension (DLLE)
The Department of Life Long Learning and Extension is a statutory department under the Mumbai University. The motto of DLLE is “TO REACH THE UNREACHED”. The department carries out extension work projects encompassing social issues. The students associated with DLLE are awarded 10 additional marks at the final exam for the completion of the project in a year.
Swayam Siddhi college of Commerce and Management has become a part of DLLE from the year 2016-17. This year the college has undertaken two projects ‘Survey of Women Status’ (SWS) and ‘Annapoorna yojana’ (AY)
ACADEMIC YEAR 2017-18
Industrial Visit of BMS Students was arranged by college on 23rd Dec, 2017 at Khopoli. One Bus Carrying 51 Students left from College in the Morning at 7.30 am & Returned in evening at 9.30 pm. In this Visit 51 Students from FY/SY & TY BMS has participated.
Company Visited: Parle Food Products Pvt Ltd. Khopoli Plant
About Visit
In the Company Visit students were shown the PPT by the Company Marketing Team in which they explained about various Products of Parle Company and after that the Production plant of Biscuits & Chocolates was visited by students along with their support staff.
After Visit to Company Students were taken for Lunch & After Lunch students also visited Ruby Spinning Mills.
Students were provided with morning Break Fast, Lunch & Snacks in the Evening.
