Swayam Siddhi Degree Night College managed by Swayam Siddhi Mitra Sangh, Bhiwandi was established in the year 2016 by Managing Trustee CA Parag Khandekar, a visionary educationist. The College Development Committee consisting of eminent personalities from various fields contribute to the overall development of the college. The college is affiliated to the University of Mumbai.  It is located in the outskirts of Bhiwandi city and also easily accessible to the students of nearby towns like Kalyan and Thane.

The college started initially in the building at Sonadevi Compound, Kalyan-Dombivili road, Bhiwandi with basic facilities. It then shifted  to this present facility at Vardaan Plaza, above Union Bank, Temghar, Kalyan-Bhiwandi Road, Bhiwandi.

The college being a night college, offers great opportunity for the working students who can pursue their graduation for better prospects in life. The college also offers internship and also job placements to needy students. The college motivates the students to earn and learn.

The college infrastructure is designed in such a way that it creates a congenial atmosphere for teaching, learning and overall development of student’s personality.

The college has a dynamic principal, Dr. G. S. Shikhare, who is assisted by young and enthusiastic staff who are always ready to help the students in all the things.

The college IQAC was established in the year 2017. It has taken several steps to inculcate research culture among the staff and the students.

The college conduct various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities throughout the year giving good opportunities to the students to develop their managerial skills, leadership qualities cooperative spirit etc. which gives a long way in shaping the students in to good citizens.
